Our Japanese Head Spa at Hair and Harmony is a deeply relaxing treatment designed to promote scalp health, improve hair condition, and support overall wellbeing. Combining specialist techniques with nourishing products, this experience helps to cleanse, hydrate, and revitalise both the scalp and hair while easing tension and encouraging relaxation. It is more than just a treatment, it is a calming escape that leaves you feeling refreshed, restored, and looking after the health of your hair from the root.

A Japanese head spa treatment is an ultimate relaxation head massage, to help rejuvenate and hydrate your hair and scalp leaving you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

To begin this treatment with you lying on a bed with a blanket, I will then apply a warming eye mask to help you unwind and switch off.

Your treatment begins with you lying comfortably on a treatment bed with a blanket, where a gentle warming eye mask is applied to help you unwind and fully switch off from the outside world.

The experience starts with a 30 minute shoulder, neck, and head massage, using specialist techniques and tools to enhance relaxation and relieve built up tension.

This is followed by two deep cleansing scalp and hair washes to effectively remove impurities, excess oils, and product build up.

A hydrating milk treatment is then applied to the hair, followed by the use of a steamer for 2 to 3 minutes. The gentle heat helps to open the hair cuticle, allowing the nourishing ingredients to deeply penetrate and maximise moisture absorption.

You will then enjoy a relaxing rinse using the rainfall spa, designed to elevate your sense of calm even further.

A luxury hair mask is applied, accompanied by a further soothing head massage using specialist tools.

After a final rinse and towel dry, you will be given time to get up and dressed at your own pace before finishing with a gentle cool air blow dry. Please note, your hair may remain slightly damp when leaving.
